*Please note: we enjoy exterior views of most buildings and visit a few shops and buildings to keep warm. This is a walking tour which takes places mostly outdoors: please wear comfortable shoes and warm clothes. During this unique Christmas walk, we discover a world of mesmerising lights, wonderful decorations and world-famous window displays whilst hearing fun facts about the festive history of London.

We explore charming hidden gems: secret alleyways in Covent Garden, pretty streets in Mayfair, vibrant courtyards in Soho as well as one-of-a-kind buildings in St. James’s.

From Instagrammable tunnels to the oldest department store in London, we will uncover the best-kept secrets of the West End, find unique gift shops and enjoy delicious treats!

We explore the iconic Piazza, the artisans market and admire its famous Christmas tree whilst we share the story of how this tradition, dating back to the 1800s, became popular in the UK.

Seven Dials

We wander around an off-the-beaten-path shopping district, home to a charming hidden courtyard and a fun food market, to enjoy a more local vibe and taste a hot chocolate or mulled wine to keep us warm.

Soho

We uncover the history of Christmas and hear stories about the origins of yet more traditions, from the Christmas card to the Christmas cracker, and soak up Carnaby’s vibrant atmosphere whilst admiring their quirky decorations.

Regent Street

We walk along this breathtaking shopping wonderland to marvel at the most hypnotic Christmas lights in the city and have fun at Hamleys (the oldest toy store in the world!) before exploring Oxford Street and a hidden road decorated with spectacular lights.

Mayfair

We discover stunning window displays in Bond Street, a luxurious retail heaven, and explore an area full of hidden gems, from an illuminated garden to colourful, secret passages.

St. James’s

We visit a fabulous gallery with some of the most festive decorations in town and end the walk at Fortnum and Mason, the oldest department store in London and the perfect place to find unique gifts or taste delicious tea!
